Nouvelles en trios lignes

Félix Fénéon was a prolific art critic and journalist and in 1906, he publish an anonymous column "Nouvelles en trios lignes" (News in Three Lines) in partnership with the Parisian newspaper Le Matin.

Moving forward, I will write the news in the manner that Fénéon use to, as he reported on sensational news, from political protests to worker's demonstrations. I will also focus on climate change and activism that is sweeping our social media and into our 24-hour news coverage. This does not mean I will forego any additional coverage in the quintessential standard of a blog, but I want to try my hand at distilling true stories into as a few lines as possible.

I hope you will enjoy this departure from the norm!

“Félix Fénéon at La Revue blanche,” 1896. Félix Vallotton’s painting places Fénéon at the literary magazine’s offices, where he is seen leaning fiercely into a desk piled high with papers.
