Manchin commits fashion faux-pas in misguided bipartisanship. 

Senator Joe Manchin, a Democrat from West legislation, is facing backlash from his own party. With Democrats in Congress stating their disdain for the congressman's attempts to block Democrat legislation. Manchin has taken the phrase "play both sides of the fence" literally and voted with Republicans in the Senate, thus opposing Biden and the Democrat party agenda. 

With Sen. Joe Manchin primed to give Democrats a long-awaited energy, tax and health care law, his rejection of previously proposed climate and tax provisions in Biden's Build Back Better plan has left a sour taste on both sides of the aisle. 

In retaliation, if he decides to run again, Manchin may face stiffer competition during his 2024 campaign. Due to his misguided bipartisan that leaves West Virginia paying the price, his own party is facing criticism.

Despite Democrats' efforts to improve healthcare, combat climate change and uplift the economy; they are facing an uphill battle with getting the votes they did to deliver on their agenda.
